Level of Difficulty:
Join us for Nuestros Parques, Spanish-language nature hikes in the Sonoma County Regional Parks. A bilingual naturalist leads these free, family walks on the first Saturday of each month. On this hike, we'll explore the dense forest of Hood Mountain Regional Park and the headwaters of Santa Rosa Creek. We'll learn about plants and animals and discover why time outdoors is good for our bodies and minds. Walks start at 10 a.m. and end at noon. Then we enjoy a potluck picnic in the park! This walk is part of Healthy Parks Healthy People Bay Area initiative, which connects residents with the health benefits of public parks and open spaces. Bring a water bottle, plate and utensils, and a dish to share for the potluck. Free. Meet at the Los Alamos Road parking lot trailhead. Parking is $7 or free for Regional Parks members.
